Snow in Kenya

Is this how “snow” taste?..This man seems to be contemplating…

Sorry, it was not snow but a thick blanket of hailstones that fell in some remote village in Kenya and confused many Kenyans who thought snow had fallen for the first time in Kenya. Bewildered village residents were astonished to find that a fairly thick carpet of hailstones had fallen on their land suddenly.

Snow in Kenya is only found on Mount Kenya. One media house reported that the hailstones had fallen over an area of 100 acres and had caused widespread damage to food crops.

Many villagers were astonished at the incident because it was the first time they were witnessing such an event.

One resident joked and said they thought “Jesus had come back”. I captured some of the images below from videos on the internet..
