Kenya Luxury Tented Camps - The Mara Bushtops Camp
I had the privilege of visiting and staying for one night at the exclusive Mara Bushtops Lodge, one of the top luxury lodges in Kenya for free. The lodge is perched on top of a hill outside the Masai Mara main gate
The camp enjoys close proximity to the Siana Springs and Keekorok airstrips and is also close to the Mara River where the great annual wildebeest migration takes place. The great migration was named as one of the new Seven Wonders of the world
What i liked most about this lodge was the level of service that you get. The staff are very attentive and go at great length to ensure that you enjoy your stay here. The lodge has 12 luxurious well appointed tents that offer utter privacy with the added advantage of being close to nature as you can get.

The tents are naturally airy as they totally open out on three sides, offering excellent views of the great outdoors. From the comfort of their tents, guests can enjoy some private game viewing when opportunity presents itself.

Each tent is stylishly appointed with fine furnishings which reflect the elegance of an exotic African culture; a mix of nature and contemporary comfort.
The lodge also has the unfair advantage of being in close proximity to a natural salt lick which wild game at attracted to. The management set up a dining area that overlooks this natural salt lick so visitors get to enjoy their lunch as they watch the wildlife

The manager of the lodge, Mr George, a very talkative individual kept us entertained with stories about the lodge while cracking jokes with us.
